Studio Arabiya

***This is not a paid advertisement*** Even during difficult times, we’ve kept up with our studies. We added a new and delightful method of learning to our curriculum a few weeks ago and my husband and I have been pleased with the results, MashaAllah.

Studio Arabiya uses Skype to conduct classes in Arabic and Quran memorization. Our older children participate Monday through Friday in two half-hour classes and their progress has been fantastic, AlhamduLillah. The main materials that we needed to start the course was a web cam, two notebooks and two pencils. The Arabic course covers the materials found in Kitab al-Asasi:

At first I was skeptical because they were both very timid (which is unlike them) and were quietly answering questions, or not answering at all! I was certainly glad that we had a free trial period, lol. By the end of the week we were still a little unsure but decided to stick with it. I am glad that we did because they both gradually conquered their shyness and their progress has been great ever since, AlhamduLillah.

They are given a bit of homework each day, such as memorization of vocabulary words or taking a few moments to recall the latest surah, but nothing that overwhelms them or takes a significant amount of time. The best part is that they have bonded with their instructors and look forward to their lessons each day . Try them out here: www.studioarabiya.com

The course is not only for children; try them for yourselves as well, InshaALLAH.
