I thought that we would be using the book The Sealed Nectar for our seerah studies, but honestly, I started listening to The Life of the Prophet Muhammad (Makkan Period) by Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki during Ramadaan and haven’t looked back. What I do is listen to a lecture ahead of time and then present it to the children in a way that they can understand, sometimes just retelling the story from my notes, or drawing it on our mini-whiteboard, or while they color. So far, they are enjoying it very much, AlhamduLILLAH.

P.S. don’t laugh at my camels 🙂
